Connecting your BitBox02 to the NuFi web wallet allows you to manage your crypto assets with an easy-to-use interface while keeping your keys secure on your hardware wallet.

This guide will walk you through setting up the NuFi wallet and connecting your BitBox02.

Part 1: Initial wallet setup

1. Go to the official NuFi wallet website: https://nu.fi/ 
2. Select Pair Hardware Wallet.

3. In the Choose a name for this wallet window, enter a name (e.g., "My BitBox") and accept the terms. Click Continue.

4.  When prompted to "Protect your wallet with a password," create a strong password and click Continue. This password protects access to the web wallet interface.

5. The next window will ask, Create NuFi wallet recovery phrase?. Since you are using a BitBox02, your recovery phrase is already secured on your device. Select Continue without recovery phrase.
6. In the "Manage blockchains" window, choose the blockchains you want to use (e.g., BTC and ETH) and click Save.

7. The initial web wallet setup is now complete. Next, you will add your BitBox02 accounts.

Part 2: Connect your BitBox02

8. From the main dashboard, find the asset you want to add (e.g., BTC) and click + Add account.

9. Select Add new HW accounts.

10. Choose BitBox02 from the list of hardware wallets.

11. A connection window will appear. Plug in your BitBox02 to your computer.
12. Follow the prompts on your BitBox02 screen and click Connect in the NuFi window.

12. If this is your first time connecting, a pairing code will appear on your computer screen. Verify that it matches the code shown on your BitBox02 display and confirm on your device.

13. If you have connected before, simply unlock your BitBox02 with your device password.

Part 3: Add and manage your accounts

14. NuFi will now display your account addresses and balances. Native SegWit is used by default.
15. Select the checkboxes for the accounts you wish to manage in the NuFi wallet and click Continue.

14. You can optionally give your accounts custom names (e.g., "Savings") on the next screen. Click Continue.

15. A confirmation message will appear: "Congratulations! The accounts have been successfully added."

16. You can now view and manage your accounts directly in the NuFi web app.

Important Security Information

• Transaction signing: All transactions must be confirmed on your BitBox02. You cannot move funds without physically confirming the transaction on your hardware wallet.
• Seed Phrase: Your 24-word recovery phrase (seed) always remains securely stored on your BitBox02. Never enter it into the NuFi wallet or any other website or application.
